Each week, I create a post that’s ready to fill you with the inspiration you need to make it through Hump Day and to the end of your work week. In these weekly posts are three articles from across the web that I’ve found particularly compelling. The goal is to pass on the best content being produced on the web today by other diligent content marketers to help you get to the end of your week. Here’s this week’s dose of inspiration:
About a year ago I started The Savvy Copywriter. At the time, I planned to do what I knew best – craft blog posts, articles, emails, and websites for small businesses that simply do not have the time to do this on their own. I firmly believe in the content marketing strategy and now I’m excited to see this strategy evolving into something that will impact small businesses on a far deeper level. This first post is from PR News. Public relations firms and strategists are quick to hail the importance of content marketing in public relations. These five content marketing rules to live by from PR News demonstrate some of the most effective ways to create a buzz online about your brand or product, and use value to get in the eyes of not only customers, but also bloggers and industry leaders that will help take your business to new heights.
Ask me if I like Coke or Pepsi more and the answer will always be Coke. With that aside, I admire the company for far more than their delicious beverages. Their marketing strategy is equally as impressive, if not more so. With a product that has not evolved for over a century, they do an exceptional job at keeping it exciting. Now, they have openly decided on a new approach to their marketing strategy with content marketing domination. As a fan of the brand, and an advocate for the power of content and storytelling, I’m thrilled to watch Coca-Cola develop on this new strategy.
I’m a sucker for good quotes. I often times reach for them on days where I’m feeling a bit lost, down in the dumps, or in need of a bit of inspiration. Since today is Hump Day Inspiration day, I figured that sharing some of the most inspiring quotes about marketing would be quite appropriate. So here you go. Enjoy!
